Management Profile

M. A. Tayab

Mr. Mohammed Abu Tayab was born in a business family of Chittagong. He is a frontline industrialist of Bangladesh having pioneering contribution in industrialization of the war devastated country. His illustrious father, Late Al-hajj Mir Ahmed Sowdagar was a successful businessman during the period when doing business by a Bangladeshi was difficult due to domination of the migrant business community. There is hardly any manufacturing, trading or financial sector where he and his brother have not invested. Wherever they placed their golden hands have flourished.

Mr. Tayab is a widely traveled person. He has strong business contacts all over the world; and he specializes in sourcing of capital machineries around the world.
